Besarnya api dan banyaknya area restoran cepat saji yang terbakar, membuat proses pemadaman berlangsung hingga Senin (9/8/2025) pagi.
Saksi mata kejadian, Holid, mengatakan, suasana sangat mencekam ketika si jago merah dengan cepat merambat ke sejumlah bangunan.
Saat kejadian, Holid yang berprofesi sebagai pengendara ojek online baru saja rampung makan di sekitar lokasi kejadian.
"Apinya langsung membesar, langsung pada lari nyelamatin diri," kata Holid di lokasi.
Holid mengatakan, api cepat merembet ke bangunan yang lain, musabab angin berhembus cukup kencang saat peristiwa itu terjadi.
"Anginnya kencang banget, jadi apinya menyambar ke baliho, terus ke bangunan yang lain juga," ucapnya.
