On Thursday, the Trump administration doubled down on the lethality of US strikes in destroying Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend. During a Pentagon press briefing, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called the operation a "historically successful attack" and said it caused 'devastation'. Hegseth said he wasn't aware of any evidence that would suggest that enriched uranium was moved out before the attacks.
