Bihar Special Intensive Revision: Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list is currently underway in Bihar, and the use of Form-6 has become a major talking point. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also raised several questions regarding the form. In this context, The Quint (Vikas Kumar) investigated how Form-6 has been used in one assembly constituency — Valmiki Nagar.We analysed nearly two years of data and found that, before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a large number of new voters were added. However, during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision, several of these names have gone missing from the draft list. Our investigation also revealed that 22% of these “new voters” are over the age of 30. Watch this exclusive report by Vikas Kumar.
