HERFORD: Polizei ermittelt nach Feuer in Bar! "Erster Hinweis auf eine mögliche Brandstiftung!"Nach dem Feuer in einer Bar in Herford bei Bielefeld hat die Polizei ein Wohnhaus in der ostwestfälischen Stadt durchsucht. Im Zusammenhang mit dem Brand sei es am Sonntagabend zu einem Einsatz mit Spezialeinsatzkräften gekommen, sagte ein Polizeisprecher in Bielefeld. Aus ermittlungstaktischen Gründen wolle man keine weiteren Angaben machen. Dem «Westfalen-Blatt» zufolge wurde in dem Mehrfamilienhaus eine Wohnung durchsucht, in der der Gesuchte aber nicht angetroffen worden sei.
Die Bar brannte am Sonntagmorgen aus. Die Polizei ermittelte eigenen Angaben zufolge «in alle Richtungen». Brandermittler konnten zunächst nicht in die Bar, zunächst sollten Statiker am Montag die Einsturzgefahr des Gebäudes beurteilen.
