Recientemente, las fuerzas estadounidenses incautaron un buque que transportaba petróleo venezolano y, desde septiembre, el ejército estadounidense ha llevado a cabo al menos 25 ataques aéreos contra embarcaciones presuntamente dedicadas al contrabando de drogas en el Caribe y el Pacífico oriental cerca de Venezuela, en los que murieron al menos 95 personas.
Hablamos del tema con el historiador ganador del Premio Pulitzer y profesor de la Universidad de Yale Greg Grandin, quien plantea que las acciones del Gobierno de Trump contra Venezuela expresan una “renuncia total al internacionalismo liberal” y muestran hasta qué punto se está dejando atrás la idea de “un mundo gobernado por leyes consuetudinarias”.
