Pilu! Pria Asal Asahan Ditawari Jadi Penyanyi di Malaysia Malah Dijual ke Kamboja hingga Tewas
KOMPAS.TV - Dijanjikan bekerja sebagai penyanyi di Malaysia, seorang warga Asahan, Sumatra Utara malah menjadi korban perdagangan orang di Kamboja.Korban pun meninggal dunia setelah sempat meminta bantuan keluarga untuk membantu memulangkannya.
"Minta tolong!" itulah yang disampaikan seorang warga Kelurahan Bunut, Asahan, Sumatra Utara, kepada adiknya di Indonesia.
Pria bernama Azwar ini memohon agar sang adik bisa membayarkan biaya denda sebesar Rp40 juta dan ongkos supaya bisa pulang.
Azwar yang menjadi korban perdagangan orang takut dijual lagi karena tak bisa bekerja dalam kondisi sakit.
Menurut pihak keluarga, korban awalnya dijanjikan oleh seseorang untuk bekerja sebagai penyanyi di Malaysia, namun justru dijual ke salah satu perusahaan scammer di Kamboja.
Korban mengaku mengalami penyiksaan dan meminta bantuan untuk bisa dipulangkan.
Pihak keluarga sempat mengirimkan uang, namun kemudian justru mendapat kabar korban telah meninggal dunia.
Kini keluarga Azwar berharap pemerintah Indonesia bisa membantu pembiayaan pemulangan Azwar agar jenazahnya bisa dimakamkan di kampung halamannya.
