Queste le parole chiave della lotta dei movimenti di artisti, videomaker, fonici e altri operatori del mondo dello spettacolo che nella mattina del 21 luglio 2025, intorno alle 9, hanno occupato l’ ex Circolo degli artisti vicino a via Casilina. "Un luogo abbandonato dal 2015 che speriamo possa restituito ai cittadini e diventi un presidio culturale permanente. L’arte dev’essere libera, la cultura tutti. E questo spazio era simbolo della socialità del quartiere, simbolo della vita e della notte", dice Marta Di Maio dell’associazione Teatro di Roma. "La situazione per il nostro settore è molto grave: il 90% di noi è precario e i pochi contratti che ci sono non vanno bene. Molti di noi stanno cambiando lavoro perché così non si riesce a sopravvivere". Marta sottolinea: "Togliere i finanziamenti al mondo dello spettacolo significa ridurre gli stipendi". I dati parlano chiaro: "Con la scusa che questo è un settore lavorativo atipico, si precarizza e si utilizzano forme contrattuali inadeguate. Le cose devono cambiare".
