In a televised address ahead of the planned release of Israeli captives and Palestinian prisoners, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for unity despite ongoing divisions.He urged Israelis to set aside differences, praising the nation’s resilience in times of conflict while warning that challenges and potential threats remain.
Netanyahu expressed gratitude to injured soldiers and the public for their steadfastness.
He also spoke of his meetings with the families of captives, promising continued efforts to secure their release.
Describing the moment as a “new beginning”, he said it should mark a path of recovery and national strength.
