Still Minab, the Angels Games
On February 28, 2026, at 11:23 AM, the United States and the Zionist entity struck Shajareye Tayebe School in Minab, Iran. The school was hit three times. One hundred and fifty-five lives were lost—students between the ages of six and twelve, teachers, parents waiting to take their children home, and school staff. Nothing can ever fully account for the lives taken that day.But accountability begins with truth—and with honoring the agency and narratives of those subjected to colonial and imperial aggression.
"Still, Minab" is a mini‑series born from a responsibility to affirm the victims’ own voices: their lives, testimonies, and interpretations as undeniable sources of knowledge about this atrocity. It is also a commitment to them.
Episode One – Angel’s Game follows Parastesh Zaeri, eleven years old, a survivor of the attack who still does not know that her nine‑year‑old brother has been killed.
This commitment also makes "Still, Minab" freely available and accessible to all. You are welcome (and encouraged) to share and use it widely.
"Still, Minab" honors the people of the south—holding its pain and dignity together—as a testament to the best of humanity.
Still, Minab is a fieldwork ethnography of the Minab massacre and its aftermath—researched, written, and narrated by Dr. Helyeh Doutaghi.
