Marco Travaglio ha ripercorso la propria esperienza con le cause per diffamazione e i meccanismi che, a suo dire, influenzano la libertà di critica in Italia.Alla domanda se si sia mai sentito intimidito dal potere, Travaglio ha ricordato: “Sì, la prima volta che mi è arrivata la prima busta verde con la prima causa civile per esarcimento danni. Quella ti fa paura perché è la prima. Poi quando diventano 600 non ci fai nemmeno più caso”, aggiungendo con ironia sul quantum richiesto: “Se fai il calcolo di tutti i miliardi che t’hanno chiesto, fai due conti, dici non li ho, quindi non me li potranno mai prendere.” Pur riconoscendo i rischi per le testate, ha puntualizzato: “Io stavo parlando della mia reazione emotiva quando arriva la busta verde.
