Am 4.3.2026 fand in Brüssel im Europäischen Parlament eine Pressekonferenz zum Thema "Digital ID" statt, bei der ich die Aspekte der Medizin darlegen durfte. Zweifellos hat die Digitalisierung auch in der Medizin vieles vereinfacht. In Anbetracht der Entwicklung der letzten Jahre kristallisieren sich aber zunehmend die mit dieser Technologie verbundenen Risiken heraus, die mittlerweilen in einen nachweisbaren Konflikt zum Berufsethos gekommen sind und mit dem Hippokratischen Eid / Genfer Gelöbnis nicht mehr in Einklang zu bringen sind.
Die Einladung zu dieser Rede war eine große Ehre für mich und ich möchte mich dabei aufrichtig bei Fr. Dr. Maria Hubmer-Mogg bedanken, die das Ganze erst möglich gemacht hat.
