A constitucionalista Damares Medina conversou com Luís Nassif na TV GGN sobre o embate entre o Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) e o Congresso Nacional, em meio à decisão do ministro Gilmar Mendes que estabeleceu novas regras para pedidos de impeachment de ministros.Damares analisa o conceito de “constitucionalismo estratégico”, em que Executivo, Legislativo e Judiciário utilizam a Constituição como instrumento político para se proteger e manter poder. Ela explica que o STF, considerado por muitos uma "supercorte", na verdade se encontra fragilizado, alvo de ataques, tentando equilibrar o jogo de forças com o Congresso.
A especialista também alerta para o risco de “ditadura da maioria”, defende o papel contramajoritário do Supremo e lembra que, na história, nunca houve impeachment de ministro. A entrevista ainda aborda as relações entre elites políticas, crime organizado e big techs nesse novo cenário do poder brasileiro
