I fondi già ci sono, tutto sta nella capacità di canalizzare la spesa. La programmazione regionale delle risorse destinate alle aggregazioni territoriali, come le tre Aree funzionali metropolitane e quelle medie così come per tutte le altre modalità previste, vede il governo regionale disponibile a un'interlocuzione preventiva per condividere e discutere della fattibilità dei progetti che si intendono realizzare. Oggi, ai sindaci dei Comuni della Fua metropolitana di Messina, abbiamo assicurato il nostro impegno nel rafforzamento delle risorse umane destinate a potenziare gli organici del territorio e nell'applicazione del metodo di una completa cooperazione e collaborazione. Un metodo che confermerò anche per le altre Fua e che intendo adottare in generale verso tutte le amministrazioni territoriali».
