Belakangan diketahui bahwa mereka merupakan rombongan peziarah dari jemaah Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) asal Desa Sambongbangi, Kecamatan Kradenan, Grobogan, Jawa Tengah.
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Sekretaris Divisi Regional Perum Perhutani Jawa Tengah, Agus Supriyanto Ganasari, Senin (14/7).
Menurut Agus, jumlah rombongan kurang lebih 100 orang dan menaiki Gunung Lawu via Cemoro Sewu pada Kamis (10/7).
Tujuan kedatangan mereka ke Hargo Dumilah adalah berziarah ke Sunan Gunung Lawu dan melakukan doa bersama.
