Der Meeresschaum an deutschen Küsten ist mit Chemikalien belastet – sogenannten PFAS. Diese "Ewigkeitschemikalien" verschwinden nicht einfach wieder, sondern reichern sich in der Umwelt und sogar in uns Menschen an. Und das kann gesundheitliche Folgen haben, zum Beispiel ein erhöhtes Krebsrisiko. Dabei steckt PFAS in vielen Alltagsprodukten – von Antihaft-Pfannen über Kosmetika und Pizzakartons bis hin zu Medizingeräten. Die EU will diese Chemikalien einschränken, doch die Chemie-Lobby wehrt sich mit aller Kraft und hat in der Politik sogar schon Erfolge erzielt.
