FEUER-ALARM IN RIO: Olympia-Velodrom brennt – Rauchschwaden über Metropole
Schockmoment in Rio de Janeiro: Am Olympia-Velodrom im Olympiapark bricht plötzlich ein Feuer aus. Dichter schwarzer Rauch steigt auf, Flammen schlagen aus dem Dach der ehemaligen Olympia-Arena von 2016. Rund 60 Feuerwehrleute kämpfen im Großeinsatz gegen das Inferno. Besonders das Stoffdach wird schwer beschädigt, während das Innere der Halle und das Olympische Museum verschont bleiben. Verletzte gibt es nicht. Die Ursache ist noch unklar, doch Ermittler prüfen eine bekannte Brandquelle. Die Lage ist inzwischen unter Kontrolle.Quelle: Secretaria de Estado de Defesa Civil
