El influencer y activista cubanoamericano Alex Otaola abordó en su programa Hola! Ota-Ola los recientes acontecimientos ocurridos en Morón, señalando que estos hechos podrían marcar un punto de inflexión dentro del actual escenario en Cuba.Durante su análisis, Otaola reflexionó sobre el contexto histórico y político de la isla, haciendo referencia a episodios del pasado donde figuras del propio sistema promovieron acciones de sabotaje como parte de su lucha. En ese sentido, cuestionó las narrativas actuales que califican de manera distinta hechos similares según el momento político.
El activista planteó que lo ocurrido responde a un clima de presión social acumulada durante años, en medio de una crisis económica, apagones y malestar generalizado, lo que ha generado nuevas expresiones de descontento en diferentes zonas del país.
Asimismo, destacó que estos eventos forman parte de un proceso en desarrollo y que su evolución dependerá tanto de la respuesta interna como de la atención internacional sobre lo que sucede en Cuba.
