NATO’s ‘Doorless’ Limo: Inside Turkey’s Custom EVs for World Leaders | FP
Turkey showcased its homegrown automotive industry at the 2026 NATO Summit in Ankara by deploying 10 specially customised Togg T10X electric limousines to transport world leaders. Designed exclusively for official state use, the open-sided vehicles featured Turkish national colours and traditional motifs, offering easy access for dignitaries travelling between summit venues. The fully electric limousines operated on short routes under tight security and are not available for commercial sale. By using the Togg fleet, Türkiye highlighted its domestic electric vehicle industry on the global stage. The summit concluded with NATO members reaffirming their commitment to collective defence under Article 5 and implementing higher defence spending targets.---------------------------------------------------
