Motivated to build his own identity rather than becoming a regular IT employee, he went on to become the founder of SUMVN. Sai Kiran shares the powerful message that you define your own identity. While it is easy to succumb to failure, believing in yourself can lead to true success. Life can take unexpected turns; despite being a college topper, supporting his family, and being in love, Sai Kiran faced severe depression when his relationship ended. With the support of friends, he realized there is no shame in experiencing failure, the real mistake is staying trapped in it. Ultimately, you often have to fail multiple times to achieve great success. SUMVN (pronounced "someone") is a Hyderabad-based product company founded by Katapally Sai Kiran and Rapolu Narender Krishna on April 18, 2016. The company is currently developing "SINDHU," an EdTech application. SUMVN also hosts two annual events: the NASA Space Apps Challenge and the E-Summit, which is held in tier-2 and tier-3 colleges to encourage young entrepreneurs. Space App India is an initiative by SUMVN dedicated to building the space community in India and providing a common platform for students, designers, startups, professionals, research scholars, and domain experts to share innovative ideas.
