It’s time for an almighty American muscle head-to-head!

We’ve got our hands on the legendary Corvette Z06, and it’s going up against the Ford Mustang Dark Horse and the literal king of the strip—the Dodge Demon! This is the ultimate battle for US supremacy, but who will cross the line first? Let’s check out the stats…

Starting with the Corvette Z06, it’s powered by a 5.5-litre naturally aspirated LT6 V8 with a flat-plane crank, generating 670hp and 625Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, and it tips the scales at 1,685kg. In today’s market, you’re looking at around £88,000 to get your hands on one of these mid-engine masterpieces!

Finally, we have the Dodge Demon. This beast features a 6.2-litre supercharged V8, and in its most potent form, it puts down an eye-watering 819hp and 972Nm! All that power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic, and it’s the heavyweight of the group at 1,941kg. If you want one now, expect to pay £62,000!
