How to ride this bull run ?

A bull market doesn't automatically make you money. You can still lag it badly if your portfolio's sitting in last cycle's winners while the smart money's already left the building.

Ishmohit talks with Prabhakar Kudva of Samvitti Capital about the part of investing everyone skips: reading the environment itself. Most people spend all their energy hunting the next great stock. Almost nobody stops to ask where we are in the cycle, how wide participation actually is, which themes are leading right now, or whether liquidity's flowing in or quietly heading for the exits.

That's a bigger blind spot than it sounds. A stock can keep posting great numbers long after the market's stopped rewarding it for them. The price stalls out before the fundamentals ever show a crack. By the time that's obvious to everyone, capital's already rotated somewhere else.

What We Get Into

1. Why environment usually beats stock-picking, more than people want to admit
2. The four variables that move first: cycle position, breadth, leadership, liquidity
3. How fast capital piles in once a theme gets going
4. Telling early momentum apart from late-stage mania
5. "Great quarter, dead stock" is a warning sign, not a coincidence
6. The 18–24 month rule for when to start cutting risk
7. Why a few themes can carry a portfolio better than a few stocks
8. Spreading exposure across themes without diluting returns

Bottom line: the index can keep climbing while your portfolio's stuck reliving last cycle's leaders.
