Nel pomeriggio di giovedì 26 febbraio un’operazione ad «impatto» battezzata «Smoke Corner» ha sgominato un vasto giro di spaccio a Ravenna nei giardini Speyer, vicini alla stazione ferroviaria. Di fatto è stata una maxi retata: quattordici persone sono state indagate e arrestate per il reato di spaccio. Va evidenziato che l’area interessata dalle indagini ha compreso la stazione ferroviaria di piazzale Farini e, in particolare il quadrilatero fra quest’ultima piazza, viale Farini, via Carducci e via di Roma dove si trovano i giardini pubblici «Speyer». A pochi passi sono presenti anche due scuole con consistente afflusso di studenti: è stata contestata l’aggravante di cui all’art. 80 del testo unico sugli stupefacenti, che prevede l’aumento della pena.
