Die Everglades in Florida kennen vielleicht einige aus dem Urlaub. Ein riesiges Sumpfgebiet, berühmt für seine Alligatoren. Doch die werden bedroht. Die und alle anderen einheimischen Tiere, die dort leben – und zwar von der burmesischen Python. Das ist eine invasive Schlangenart aus Asien, die das Ökosystem massiv aus dem Gleichgewicht bringt. Der Staat Florida ruft deshalb jeden Sommer zur Jagd auf. Und unsere MOMA-Reporterin Gudrun Engel hat todesmutig auch versucht, eine Schlange zu fangen.
