Presentato alla 20esima Festa del Cinema di Roma, nella sezione Grand Public, «Fuori la verità», il nuovo film di Davide Minnella, con un cast prevalentemente romano: Claudio Amendola, Claudia Gerini, Claudia Pandolfi, Leo Gassmann, Eleonora Gaggero, Alice Lupparelli, e la partecipazione di Lorenzo Richelmy. In uscita il 6 novembre 2025 per PiperFilm, racconta la storia della famiglia Moretti protagonista di un game show dove l’unica regola è dire sempre la verità. Quello che inizia come un gioco si trasforma presto in un confronto intimo, in cui segreti e fragilità vengono a galla, mettendo a rischio gli equilibri familiari. Per Claudia Gerini, la verità resta un atto di liberazione: «La verità è liberatoria, soprattutto quando ti liberi e dici: “questa sono io”. Smetti di rincorrere un’immagine e riscopri la tua autenticità. È un gesto che, in fondo, ci salva». Mentre Claudio Amendola aggiunge: «La verità va meritata. Non si deve dire per forza, non sempre e non a tutti. Perché anche chi la riceve deve saperla accogliere. A volte la bugia è un’arma di difesa, o magari di distrazione». Per Minnella, «Fuori la verità» è «un film che parla di tutti noi, delle nostre paure e del bisogno di apparire». Un invito, spiega, «a fermarsi e riflettere su ciò che stiamo diventando». L’anteprima romana, poi, ha un sapore speciale. «Dal pubblico romano ci aspettiamo accoglienza, affetto, calore», racconta Gerini, mentre Amendola aggiunge ironico: «Tra noi due c’è Roma.
