Dwarka is peaceful and prosperous after the great war of Kurukshetra. Lord Krishna has settled into his life of leisure. His young son Shambo has grown into a divinely beautiful man, and everyone in the kingdom loves him. A little too much, in Narada’s opinion. On his visit to Lord Krishna, he is enraged by Shambo’s apparent lack of decorum. How does he get his revenge? And what consequences await Shambo?
কুরুক্ষেত্র যুদ্ধের পর আবার শান্তি নেমে এসেছে দ্বারকাপুরীতে। শ্রীকৃষ্ণ এখন গৃহী, ও ঘোরতর সংসারী। তাঁর পুত্র শাম্ব এখন অপরূপ রূপবান এক যুবক, এবং সমগ্র রাজ্যে সমাদৃত। শ্রীকৃষ্ণের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করতে দ্বারকায় এসে শাম্বের আপ্যায়ণে সামান্য ত্রুটি লক্ষ করেন নারদ, এবং সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তাকে উদ্ধত ও দাম্ভিক বলে চিহ্নিত করেন। কে না জানে, নারদ মুনির ক্রোধ সুদূরপ্রসারী! কিন্তু তাঁর আরাধ্য নারায়ণের অবতার শ্রীকৃষ্ণের পুত্রকে কীভাবে শাস্তি দেবেন নারদ? শাম্বই বা নিয়তির টানে কোন বন্ধুর পথে যাত্রা করবে?
