Wing Commander Somnathan Krishnamoorthy is a former Indian Air Force officer and helicopterpilot with over two decades of commissioned service. A graduate of the National Defence Academy and the
Air Force Academy, he served in diverse operational environments across India, progressing from frontline
pilot to instructor and production test pilot for Russian helicopters. He played a key role in the 2004 Tsunami
