PLO | Nhiều ngày nay, miền Bắc nắng nóng, nhiều tỉnh thành nắng nóng đặc biệt gay gắt do tác động của hoàn lưu vùng thấp nóng phía tây và hiện tượng El Nino. Trung tâm Dự báo Khí tượng Thủy văn quốc gia ghi nhận một số nơi trên 42 độ C như Yên Châu (Sơn La), Lạc Sơn (Hòa Bình). Hà Nội nóng nhất ngày 27-4, hai trạm đo Láng, Ba Vì hơn 41 độ; ba trạm Sơn Tây, Hoài Đức, Hà Đông trên 40 độ C. Cơ quan khí tượng dự báo đêm 30/4, không khí lạnh cuối mùa từ lục địa Trung quốc di chuyển xuống miền Bắc, gây mưa rào, cục bộ có nơi mưa to, nắng nóng chấm dứt. Sự xung đột giữa hai khối không khí nóng và lạnh có thể gây ra hiện tượng thời tiết cực đoan như giông lốc, mưa đá, sét.Do ảnh hưởng của bộ phận không khí lạnh yếu kết hợp với hội tụ gió trên mực 1.500m nên từ đêm 30-4 đến ngày 1-5, Bắc Bộ, khu vực Thanh Hóa - Nghệ An có mưa rào và giông rải rác, cục bộ có mưa to với lượng mưa từ 15-30mm, có nơi trên 50mm. Trong mưa giông có khả năng xảy ra lốc, sét, mưa đá và gió giật mạnh. Mưa lớn cục bộ có khả năng gây ra lũ quét trên các sông, suối nhỏ, sạt lở đất trên sườn dốc và tình trạng ngập úng tại các vùng trũng, thấp.
