FLORIDA: Gutmütiger Grinch stellt Raser vor die Wahl! Weihnachtsstimmung bei der PolizeiUngewöhnliche Weihnachtsaktion in Florida: Ein pensionierter Sheriff hat sich als „Grinch“ verkleidet und Autofahrer, die leicht zu schnell unterwegs waren, vor die Wahl gestellt – echtes Strafmandat oder eine Zwiebel vom „Grinch“. Die Aktion soll zum Nachdenken anregen, aber auch schmunzeln lassen. Statt Ärger gab es für viele ein schräges Weihnachtserlebnis – inklusive Erinnerung daran, dass Rücksicht im Straßenverkehr gerade in der hektischen Vorweihnachtszeit zählt. Die Idee: mehr Humor, weniger Strafen – und ein kleines Stück Besinnlichkeit auf der Straße.
