El Cuerpo de la Guardia Revolucionaria Islámica de Irán afirma haber derribado un segundo caza F-35 estadounidense sobre el centro de Irán. La agencia de noticias iraní Tasnim publicó varias series de imágenes que, según afirmó, mostraban los restos del avión. La Guardia Revolucionaria Islámica de Irán señaló que, debido a la violenta explosión del caza tras el impacto y el choque, es poco probable que el piloto haya sobrevivido.
