Film, kaçırdığı kadını kurtarmakla teslim etmek arasında bir tereddüt yaşayan Murat’ın hikâyesini konu edinir. Murat, karısını ve oğullarından birini öldüren çete üyelerini mahkeme sırasında öldürür. Kundaktaki bebeğiyle birlikte hapishaneye girmek zorunda kalır. Birkaç yıl sonra hapishaneden kaçar. Oğlu Bora ise diğer insanlar gibi bir hayatı olmadığı için babası Murat’tan nefret etmektedir. Bu sırada Murat, Tahir’den bir iş teklifi alır. Yapması gereken tek şey kuzeni Pınar’ı evlenmeden kaçırmaktır. Oğlu Bora'nın daha iyi şartlarda yetişmesi için iş teklifini kabul eder. Pınar, büyük bir mirasın sahibidir. Pınar'ın mirasına konmak isteyen Tahir, Pınar'ı öldürmeyi plânlamaktadır. Pınar’ı nikâh masasında yakalayarak kaçıran Murat, Pınar’ın hikâyesini bir de kendisinden dinler.
