Un Camino de Compromiso: La Lucha contra la Desnutrición

Catalina Hornos, directora de la ONG “Haciendo Camino”, compartió en su charla una inspiradora historia de compromiso social. Como psicopedagoga y madre de diez hijos, siete adoptados, relató cómo su infancia privilegiada contrastó con la pobreza que conoció a los doce años a través de Andrea, una niña de su edad con un destino marcado por la falta de opciones. Esta experiencia la llevó, a los 21, a trabajar como voluntaria en Añatuya, donde enfrentó realidades de desnutrición y abandono escolar. Fundó “Haciendo Camino” para combatir la desnutrición infantil y fortalecer familias en Santiago del Estero y Chaco, promoviendo educación y oficios. Hornos destacó la importancia de combinar sensibilidad y fortaleza para transformar el dolor ajeno en acción, inspirando a cambiar realidades desde pequeños gestos colectivos.
