Durante Otto e Mezzo, condotto da Lilli Gruber, il professore Massimo Cacciari ha sbottato su una domanda della giornalista riguardo al caso della conferenza sulla remigrazione impedita a Montecitorio. Deputati dell'opposizione hanno occupato la sala dell'evento per impedire che la conferenza, promossa dal deputato della Lega Domenico Furgiuele, si tenesse regolarmente. Molti hanno giustificato la vicenda sostenendo che la presenza di alcuni ospiti di CasaPound contrastasse con i valori dell'antifascismo.
"Restiamo sul tema della Costituzione antifascista - dice Gruber a Cacciari durante la trasmissione - perché oggi abbiamo assistito a un altro tipo di scontro". Il filosofo la interrompe subito: "Sulla Costituzione non c’è scritta la parola ‘antifascista'".
"Sì, però nasce dall'antifascismo".
"Non è una Costituzione anti! Ovvio che siamo contro i fascisti! Abbiamo fatto la Resistenza, non abbiamo bisogno di accreditarci, non abbiamo bisogno di una patente di antifascismo. Lo siamo, ma lo siamo nei fatti, facendo una Costituzione che è tutta democratico-progressiva, tutta sui diritti da conquistare, chiede alla gente di organizzarsi per conquistare e sviluppare i diritti. E non abbiamo bisogno di diritti antifascisti. Questo bisogna ficcarsi nella testolina".
