Karneval in Niederkassel: Drei Männer stürzen von Umzugswagen – ein Schwerverletzter

Schreckmoment beim Karneval in Niederkassel: Beim Umzug im Stadtteil Rheidt stürzen drei Männer von einem rund drei Meter hohen Wagen der „Rheidter Väter“. Ein 51-Jähriger fällt auf den Kopf und wird per Rettungshubschrauber in eine Klinik geflogen. Zwei weitere Männer im Alter von 20 und 46 Jahren werden ebenfalls verletzt. Zunächst ist von vier Betroffenen die Rede, später korrigiert die Polizei die Zahl. Der Wagen wird sichergestellt, technische Mängel und Alkohol beim Fahrer schließen die Ermittler nach ersten Erkenntnissen aus.
