Langkah itu diduga dilakukan untuk menyiapkan perang jangka panjang dengan Israel.
Dilansir dari Al Arabiya pada Selasa (19/8), senjata yang dipindahkan Houthi ke Laut Merah adalah rudal peluncur roket, dan sistem drone.
Selain itu, baterai rudal dan sistem radar juga dipindahkan Houthi ke dekat Kota Hodeidah.
Laporan itu disampaikan oleh Line of Defence, sebuah platform yang menangani urusan keamanan dan militer Yaman.
Berdasarkan laporan tersebut, Houthi juga mengerahkan kembali amunisi angkatan laut, pesisir dan pertahanan di pegunungan barat.
Angakatan laut dan udara Houthi itu kembali dikerahkan ke wilayah strategi yang menghadap Laut Merah.
Mereka ditempatkan di lokasi-lokasi strategis utama area pegunungan dekat dengan Laut Merah.
Adapun sejak serangan Amerika Serikat ke Yaman dihentikan, Houthi telah memperkuat pasukannya dengan menggelar latihan militer utamanya angkatan laut.
Houthi mengerahkan kembali perahu, kapal dan kapal tak berawak miliknya.
Houthi juga mengintensifkan patroli pengintaian maritim di wilayah laut Yaman. (Tribun-Video.com)
