Penasihat ahli Kapolri, Irjen (Purn) Aryanto Sutadi pun turut menanggapi desakan publik itu.
Ia mengatakan, Iptu Rudiana dipastikan menolak apabila diminta tampil di depan umum.
Hal itu karena menurutnya dengan munculnya Iptu Rudiana ke publik berpotensi untuk di-bully.
Iptu Rudiana akan diminta mempertanggungjawabkan kesaksiannya pada 2016 lalu dalam kasus tewasnya sang anak dan Vina.
Rudiana selaku orang tua korban, tutur Aryanto, pasti menduga ia seakan-akan bakal diadili di hadapan publik.
Namun, ia menegaskan tidak menyatakan setuju atau tidak setuju atas desakan Iptu Rudiana untuk muncul.
Namun jika Rudiana tak tampil di hadapan publik, hal ini justru akan menimbulkan tanda tanya yang makin besar di masyarakat.
Kendati demikian, Aryanto menyebut Rudiana tak bisa dipaksa untuk tampil karena itu adalah hak yang melekat padanya.
Namun, ketidakhadiran Rudiana, jelas Aryanto, merugikan citra Polri karena dikabulkannya gugatan praperadilan Pegi Setiawan berasal dari tindakan yang dulu dilakukan Rudiana.
