April 11, 1984 - Before Mason, before Ray Clay, before Ken Calvert, and even before Tommy Williams, there was Dave Zinkoff. A public address legend, Zinkoff got his start with the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1940s at Shibe Park before looping in the 76ers during the 1950s, holding court over the position until 1985, when he passed away following complications during heart surgery.
