Verse 1
Having bowed to Shri Rama accompanied by Sita, and also to Maruti, my revered spiritual guide, I compose this Shri Maruti Stava for the grace and blessings of Lord Maruti.
Verse 2
Salutations to You, O messenger of Shri Rama. Salutations to You, devoted servant of Rama. O Shri Hanuman, I bow to You. O Maruti, again and again I offer my salutations.
Verse 3
Salutations to You, O son of Vayu. Salutations to You, son of Anjana. Salutations to You, foremost among the Vanaras. O Maruti, I bow to You again and again.
Verse 4
Salutations to You who wield the mighty mace. Salutations to You who carried the mountain. Salutations to You, remover of obstacles. O Maruti, I bow to You again and again.
Verse 5
Salutations to You, giver of happiness and remover of sorrow. Salutations to You, beloved recipient of Shri Rama's grace. O Maruti, I bow to You again and again.
