Pemerintah akan menyalurkan bantuan beras sebanyak 10 kilogram per bulan kepada 18,2 juta penerima.
Namun, penyalurannya akan dilakukan sekaligus untuk dua bulan.
Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional Arief Prasetyo Adi menyampaikan, Perum Bulog akan membagi penyaluran menjadi September-Oktober dan November-Desember.
Tahap pertama penyaluran ditargetkan dimulai akhir September hingga pertengahan November sebanyak 20 kg.
Penyaluran tahap kedua tidak akan menunggu tahap pertama selesai. Distribusi akan dimulai awal November dan ditargetkan tuntas pada bulan yang sama sebanyak 20 kg.
Dengan begitu, pemerintah berharap penyaluran bantuan beras bisa rampung akhir Desember.
