Mr. Vikas Sharma, With over two decades of experience in wealth management, banking, and financial services, Vikas is a business leader who has ideated, built, and scaled up businesses across organisations. As the Head of Wealth Management and Private Banking at IDFC FIRST Bank, he oversees the strategic direction, product development, distribution, and digital transformation of the bank's wealth management and private banking verticals. He has been involved in successfully launching and growing businesses by way of demonstrated multi-fold growth in assets under management, expanding client base, enhancing product portfolio, and improving customer experience. He is driven by the ambition of creating value for the organisation, the clients, the stakeholders, and leveraging his domain expertise through a start-up mindset and scale-up experience.
Mr. Vikaas M Sachdeva is an industry stalwart with over three decades of experience in the Asset Management business. He is currently the Managing Director of Sundaram Alternates, driving growth across different platforms, geographies and asset classes.
He formerly served as the CEO of EMKAY Investment Managers Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Emkay Global Financial Services Limited (EGFSL).
Among his industry affiliations, he has been an erstwhile member of the Mutual Fund Advisory Committee (MFAC), a high-powered committee appointed by SEBI to advise them on governing the MF industry.
He was also on the board of the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI), heading the ETF and indexing committee, which submitted the first white paper on ETFs to SEBI. More recently he was associated with the Asset Managers Roundtable of India (AMRI), the nodal body for FPIs in the country.
Arjun G Nagarajan works at Sundaram Mutual as the Chief Economist and Communications Manager With an initial 3 years in academics, Arjun's career in the equity markets span over 12 years, of which he has spent over 10 years at Sundaram Mutual
Arjun was a part of the NITI Aayog's discussion with economists on topical issues in the recent past In January 2020 Arjun participated in a pre budget roundtable consultation with the Honourable Prime Minister of India, to discuss the policy measures for budget 2020 21
Arjun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, MA in Economics and MPhil in Economics from the University of Madras He also holds MSc in Economics and MSc Finance Investment degrees from the University of Exeter, UK
