Ibu Pegi Setiawan, mendatangi gedung Ditreskrimum Polda Jabar untuk menjemput anaknya yang telah dinyatakan bebas oleh hakim tunggal Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Bandung, Senin (8/7/2024).Kartini mendatangi Polda Jabar dengan raut wajah haru dan bahagia. Dia pun lupa berterima kasih kepada semua pihak yang selama ini sudah mengawal kasus anaknya.
"Terima kasih atas dukungan dan doa dari rakyat Indonesia dan dunia yang telah mendoakan Pegi, anak saya, yang akan dibebaskan dan segera kami jemput," kata Kartini.
"Hari ini Pegi harus pulang hari ini juga," ucap Kartini. "Saya sudah membawa baju ganti untuk Pegi," lanjutnya.
Salah satu kuasa hukum Pegi, Nicholas Kili Kili, menambahkan saat ini proses administrasi tengah dilakukan agar kliennya dapat pulang hari ini juga.
"Setelah proses administrasi di polda selesai, kami akan bawa pulang Pegi sekarang juga," kata Nicholas.
