Just a quick video showing a solo clear of the second encounter of the new Sundered Doctrine Dungeon on contest mode. Details below.Not too difficult at all. You take a bit more damage, but the bolt charge spam is busted and you can deal more than enough damage to be able to beat the contest requirements with ease. There's a time limit on the encounter so you can't farm ammo forever, but provided you get a couple of drops for each phase it's enough to beat the DPS quite comfortably.
I think the bugged synergy with the boosted Volatile mod isn't working for contest, but Mask of the Quiet One gives you enough energy back to have barricades up for the entire phase. While it's not as strong without the artifact mod, it's still more than viable like this. It took me about an hour of attempts total, mostly wasting time testing different ammo efficient setups before settling on this. I also redid the first contest encounter solo, so I'll likely post a compilation reaching the final boss again like I did with the last dungeon. Final boss seems highly unlikely to be possible, especially considering it's been a few weeks now and the best I think is a 2 phase for final. So I doubt there's enough damage there, unless something completely broken has been kept all this time to beat the damage requirements. Either way, happy enough to get this out of the way nice and quickly.
This is probably also possible on arc warlock with geomags. Not going to bother rerunning this though as the one clear is enough, and generally after 1 clear interest falls off on single encounters like this with other classes.
