Saat podcast di kantor Tribun Jambi pada Sabtu (12/7/2025) sore, Lita menuturkan Misri Puspita Sari merupakan anak sulung dari lima bersaudara.
Lita menuturkan kisah anaknya semasa sekolah di Jambi, menjadi model di Jakarta hingga mendapat surat dari Polda NTB terkait kasus pembunuhan Brigadir Nurhadi.
“Misri dari TK hingga SMA tinggal di Jambi,” tuturnya.Dia mengatakan, keluarganya sempat tinggal di Kawasan Kelurahan Murni, Kecamatan Danau Sipin, Kota Jambi.
“Dari TK hingga SMP, Misri sekolah di Kota Jambi, tepatnya di sekolah yayasan Muhammadiyah,” katanya.
Kemudian, Misri melanjutkan pendidikan SMA di kawasan Mendalo Darat, di SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi.
“Karena sudah ada rumah di kawasan itu, kami tinggal dan menetap di sana,” jelasnya.
Selama SMA, Misri kerap mewakili sekolahnya di event provinsi bakan nasional.
“Misri mengharumkan nama Jambi, dia mengikuti ajang Kawah Kepemimpinan Pelajar dan Bujang Gadis Kota Jambi selama sekolah hingga tamat sekolah, dan beberapa acara lainnya,” kenang Lita.
Pasca tamat sekolah, anaknya sempat bekerja di kantor OJK Jambi (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan).“Karena prestasinya sebagai duta OJK, dia mendapatkan pekerjaan di sana. Namun tidak lama karena ayahnya meninggal,” jelasnya.
Pascaayahnya meninggal, Misri memilih merantau ke Jakarta, demi memenuhi kebutuhan ibunda dan adiknya.“Misri memilih bekerja, dia dapat tawaran beasiswa, namun ditolaknya karena lebih mementingkan adik-adiknya,” terangnya.
