Chia sẻ trên trong phóng sự của VTV vào tối ngày 9-6, sư Minh Tuệ cho biết dự định sẽ ẩn tu: "Ở núi hoặc hang đá nào đấy, rồi xuống gần làng đó khất thực, tu hành cho mình. Cần có nơi trú xứ an ổn như thế để học tập. Người tu cũng có thời gian an ổn, khi nào cần thiết mới bộ hành, nhưng bộ hành phải được yên tĩnh giống như sáu năm trước, không có ai đi theo”. Bản tin VTV cho biết, dự kiến của sư Minh Tuệ sẽ dừng chân tại một khu vực nào đấy sau khi đi hết các địa phương trên cả nước và nếu thuận lợi thì vài năm sau mới bộ hành một lần, chứ không phải lúc nào cũng đi.
