A seguito di segnalazione, i Carabinieri Forestali del Nucleo di Vobarno, congiuntamente a personale di Arpa - Dipartimento di Brescia, hanno svolto un controllo presso la acciaieria Olifer di Odolo dove erano in corso lavori edili per la realizzazione di un nuovo capannone a ridosso dell'attività produttiva esistente, di nuovi uffici e di un nuovo accesso carraio. Nella circostanza veniva accertata la realizzazione di un percorso di manovra tramite utilizzo di rifiuti quantificati in circa 2500 metri cubi, derivanti da attività di scavo contenenti scaglie di laminazione, scorie di acciaieria, frammisto ad altro materiale, che è stato campionato da Arpa per le successive analisi di laboratorio. All'esito delle operazioni veniva sequestrata l'intera area di circa 4500 metri quadrati, comprendente le due aree di cantiere nonché l'area di ampliamento del piazzale ove erano stati collocati i suddetti rifiuti.
