KOMPAS.TV - Jadwal lengkap Gerhana Bulan Total di Indonesia dimulai pada pukul 22.26 WIB, sementara puncak gerhana—saat bulan tampak merah darah—terjadi sekitar pukul 01.11 WIB (WIB), 02.11 WITA, dan 03.11 WIT. Gerhana diperkirakan berakhir pada 03.56 WIB.Fenomena langit langka akan menghiasi malam Minggu (7/9/2025) hingga Senin dini hari (8/9/2025).
Gerhana Bulan Total (GBT) yang berlangsung lebih dari lima jam ini menjadi gerhana terakhir di tahun 2025 dan dapat diamati langsung tanpa perlu alat pelindung khusus.
Berbeda dengan gerhana matahari yang membutuhkan kacamata khusus, gerhana bulan total dapat dinikmati hanya dengan mata telanjang.
Kendati begitu, penggunaan teleskop atau binokular akan membantu pengamat melihat detail permukaan bulan yang berubah warna menjadi merah darah.
Fenomena ini dapat terlihat secara penuh di wilayah Asia dan Australia, termasuk Indonesia. Beberapa wilayah Eropa, Afrika, dan Timur Tengah hanya akan mendapatkan fase gerhana sebagian.
Pihak Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) melalui bagian Tanda Waktu memastikan, masyarakat Indonesia berkesempatan menyaksikan seluruh fase gerhana bulan total pada Minggu malam hingga Senin dini hari.
“Gerhana bulan 7 September 2025 durasinya dari fase Gerhana mulai (P1) hingga Gerhana berakhir (P4) adalah 5 jam 29 menit 48 detik,” ungkap Direktur Seismologi Teknik, Geofisika Potensial, dan Tanda Waktu BMKG, Setyoajie Prayoedhie, S.T., Dipl.Tsu., MDM, saat dihubungi Kompas.com, Jumat (5/9/2025).
