Familiares y congresistas exigen juzgar a Raúl Castro por derribo de avión de Hermanos al Rescate
Familiares de las víctimas del derribo de las avionetas de Hermanos al Rescate, junto a congresistas republicanos y activistas, realizaron una petición oficial para que Raúl Castro Ruz sea encausado por crímenes de lesa humanidad. El reclamo revive uno de los episodios más trágicos en la historia reciente del exilio cubano y exige responsabilidades penales por el ataque que costó la vida a pilotos civiles.Durante el encuentro, la congresista María Elvira Salazar aseguró que la administración hará “lo correcto” y reiteró que el objetivo es liberar a los cubanos de la opresión. El llamado busca reactivar procesos judiciales y presionar para que se investiguen formalmente las responsabilidades de la cúpula del régimen cubano.
La iniciativa también cuenta con el respaldo de líderes comunitarios y organizaciones del exilio que consideran que el momento político actual abre una ventana para retomar acciones legales que en el pasado no prosperaron.
El reclamo no solo apunta a justicia para las víctimas, sino también a enviar un mensaje claro sobre la rendición de cuentas en casos de violaciones graves a los derechos humanos.
