Saat ditemui di kediamannya di Sumber, Solo, Jumat (19/9), Jokowi secara terang-terangan mendukung Prabowo Subinato dan putra sulungnya, Gibran Rakabuming Raka untuk lanjut dua periode.
Pernyataan ini dilontarkan Jokowi di usia pemerintahan yang masih muda dan belum genap mengingjak satu tahun.
Bahkan Jokowi secara terang-terangan mengaku sudah memberikan "titah" kepada relawannya untuk mendukung Prabowo-Gibran pada pemilu berikutnya tahun 2029.
Kemudian tiga hari setelahnya, tepatnya pada Senin (22/9), ada dua organisasi yang mengaku sudah menerima mandat langsung dari Jokowi untuk mendukung Prabowo-Gibran.
Dua organisasi relawan itu adalah Bara JP dan Projo.
Ketua Umum Relawan Bara JP, Willem Frans Ansanay, mengaku dirinya sudah menerima perintah Jokowi untuk mendukung Prabowo-Gibran dalam Pilpres 2029.
Menurut Frans, alasan Jokowi memberikan "titah" itu adalah untuk memaksimalkan target pemerintahan mereka yang dinilai tak cukup diselesaikan hanya dalam satu periode.
Sementara itu di pihak yang beriringan, Ketua Umum Relawan Projo, Freddy Alex Damanik turut membenarkan soal arahan Jokowi tersebut.
Freddy menjelaskan bahwa dukungan untuk pasangan Prabowo-Gibran sudah dilakukan sejak Pilpres 2024.
Hal itu tak lain untuk membantu pasangan tersebut mewujudkan visi kampanyenya berupa keberlanjutan.
Bahkan Freddy menyebut bahwa Prabowo adalah penerus Jokowi dalam memimpin Indonesia.
