Tubulensi Hebat, Kronologi Pesawat Korea Air yang Terjun 8 KM
Pesawat Korean Air KE189 turbulensi hebat dalam perjalanan dari Incheon, Korea Selatan, ke Taichung, Taiwan, pada Sabtu (22/6/2024). Sekitar 50 menit setelah keberangkatan, pesawat yang membawa 125 penumpang itu mendadak muncul peringatan tentang kerusakan pada sistem tekanan pesawat.Pelacak penerbangan online Flightradar24 mencatat pesawat itu terjun hingga 8.000 meter dalam waktu 15 menit sebelum kembali stabil dan mendarat di Bandara Incheon pada pukul 19.38 waktu setempat.
15 orang mengaku menderita hiperventilasi atau nyeri pada gendang telinga, dan 13 orang lainnya mengalami cedera. Penerbangan pun akhirnya dialihkan keesokan harinya dan tiba sekitar pukul 12.24 Waktu Taiwan menggunakan pesawat berbeda.
