53 Orang Dirawat Akibat Konsumsi Kecubung di Banjarmasin, 2 di Antaranya Meninggal Dunia
BANJARMASIN, KOMPAS.TV - Fenomena konsumsi kecubung yang sedang marak, menjadi sorotan Pemerintah Kota Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan.Dari 53 pasien yang ditangani Rumah Sakit Jiwa Sambang Lihum, Banjarmasin menjadi daerah dengan jumlah pasien terbanyak.
Warga diminta berperan aktif mengawasi lingkungannya, khusunya anggota keluarga mereka.
Pemerintah kota juga mengimbau warga menghindari penggunaan kecubung yang terbukti berdampak pada masalah kesehatan seperti gangguan mental.
Sebelumnya, dalam sepekan terakhir warga di Kota Banjarmasin Kalimantan Selatan, dibikin resah dengan fenomena mengonsumsi tanaman kecubung.
Efeknya, warga yang mengelalami kegelisahan, berhalusinasi hingga tidak sadarkan diri.
Akibat mengonsumsi kecubung sebanyak 53 warga dirawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Sambang Lihum Banjarmasin, 9 menjalani rawat jalan, sementara lainnya rawat inap. Bahkan 2 diantaranya, dinyakatakan meninggal dunia.
