Bayerns Bauern sind alarmiert. Durch den Krieg im Nahen Osten steigen die Preise für Treibstoff und Dünger. Aber die Landwirte bekommen für viele Produkte nicht mehr Geld. Und für die Verbraucher wird es auch nicht billiger – die Preise bewegen sich seit Jahren auf hohem Niveau. Gleichzeitig wachsen die Anforderungen beim Tierwohl und bei den Umweltschutzauflagen. Gerade kleinere Höfe fürchten durch strengere Auflagen um ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und überlegen, ihre Höfe aufzugeben.Wie schaut die Landwirtschaft der Zukunft aus? Welche Weichen muss die Politik jetzt stellen? Wollen wir mehr biologische Landwirtschaft? Was können, beziehungsweise sind wir Verbraucher bereit dafür zu bezahlen? Weniger tierische, sondern mehr pflanzliche Produkte – ist das die Lösung? Darüber diskutieren Bürgerinnen und Bürger in Rottenburg a. d. Laaber mit - der bayerischen Landwirtschaftsministerin Michaela Kaniber (CSU) und - Mia Goller (B’90/Grüne), landwirtschaftspolitische Sprecherin der Grünen-Landtagsfraktion.
